Recently, endoscopic operation represents a major innovation in various fields of surgery. In the gynecologic fields, hysterectomy, salpingo-oophorectomy, ovarian cystectomy, myomectomy and even lymphadenectomy are performed under the assistance of laparoscopy and hysteroscopy at present. Based on our clinical experiences of endoscopy, we have started endoscopic operation since 1992. The endoscopic operation in our department was reviewed in regard to methods and clinical results.
