Radiol Technol. 1996 Mar-Apr;67(4):307-10.

Abstract

This article describes the design and implementation of a three-year distance learning program in radiologic technology. The project was a collaborative effort of the Service Employees International Union and Bunker Hill Community College in Boston, Mass. Its goal was to offer an associate degree in medical radiography to a group of students residing throughout the commonwealth of Massachusetts. Of the 11 students enrolled in the distance learning program, 10 graduated and 8 became certified in radiography by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists.
