Abstract

An adaptation of the enzyme range of the pancreatic secret to composition and properties of the duodenal humus occurs in the duodenum. The enzymes exert regulatory effects upon the glands producing them as well as upon secretion of other glands. They also take part in maintaining the organism enzyme homeostasis. The mechanisms of these effects are analysed.
