Acta Psychiatr Scand. 1997 Aug;96(2):155-6. doi: 10.1111/j.1600-0447.1997.tb09921.x.

Abstract

We report the case of a patient whose periods of periodic catatonia were abolished by thyroid hormone and reserpine. A ratio of fractions in the urinary 17-ketosteroids was a good indicator for the treatments.
