Abstract
In the pursuit of new leishmanicidal natural products, 5,7,4'-trihydroxyflavan [1] and the new product, 5,7-dihydroxy-4'-methoxyflavan [2], were isolated from the Guianian medicinal plant Faramea guianensis.
