[Laser therapy as a method of eliminating tolerance to nitrates and potentiation of their action]

Abstract

Infrared laser therapy was examined for the ability to eliminate tolerance to nitrates and to potentiate their action. Laser radiation (0.85 micron) reduced tolerance to nitrates and potentiated nitrates action. This was evident from a rise in threshold load power, less frequent and weaker myocardial ischemia.
