Abstract

Organ preserving operations for treatment of duodenal ulcers are being more widely used. Amongst the possible late post-operative complications, one must reckon with ulcer recurrence. The radiological diagnosis of a recurrent ulcer after pyloroplasty is usually difficult. An accurate knowledge of the type of drainage operation is necessary. The typical radiological findings are demonstrated in 11 cases. The localization of the ulcer niche and stenosis in the drainage territory is considered of particular significance.
