Myxomas of soft tissues and the facial skeleton

Abstract

Myxomas in the head and neck may be intraosseous or in soft tissues. In each site, their microscopic appearance and biologic activity are similar. Recurrences of myxomas are more the consequence of incomplete excision than intrinsic aggressiveness.
