Abstract

An adrenal tumor was discovered in a patient with intermittent hypokalemia for 8 years. She had no clinical features of Cushing's syndrome. The case was regarded as pre-Cushing's syndrome by endocrinological evaluation. Our findings suggest that intermittent hypokalemia is a sign of drifting hormonal activities and may appear in a premature status of pre-Cushing's syndrome.
